Descripción de las actividades científicas desarrolladas:

Se realizan estudios (preformulación, formulación , caracterización y evaluación de in vitro e in vivo de distintos indicadores biofarmacéuticos) para el diseño y opmización de nuevos sistemas farmacéuticos, de potencial aplicación en medicina humana, veterinaria y agroindustria. Se desarrollan nanopartículas poliméricas, lipídicas y cristales líquidos, orientados preferentemente a la vehiculización de fármacos destinados al mejoramiento del tratamiento de glaucoma (vía oltálmica), parasitosis (vía oral) y como adyuvante para vacunas (vía parenteral). Del mismo, se realizan este tipo de estudios para la vehiculización de principios activos herbicidas con potencial utilidad en la formulación de agroquímicos.
